Faded badly after a decent start. Hoping we can make it to half time at 0-0.

I think we need to take copps off, hate saying that, but he’s not at the races today. Tough as nobody is playing well, but he looks a bit off it. Williams on for him, more pace

Passing is poor once we get to the half way line.

Copps needs to stay on. Smith needs to fond his range. Richards needs to up his game. Gomes is offering nothing. Bostock looks good again.

Crewe are a good side. But we knew that already.

Pretty abject. Maybe this increased intensity has taken it out of the players, and we’re massively missing Bogle as an outlet. I’d definitely take a draw right now.

id play James up front. Put John on for Gomez. Need more movement from the front men. Not many options when Bostock or Smith have the ball.

Goalless
Guileless
Gutless

Copps off, Lokilo switched, Smith warned, ...everyone bollocked apart from Jones.....

I don’t mind losing to a better placed team, I do mind losing to a worse performance than a lower placed team....

I'd bring Sims on for Copps, not because Copps has done anything wrong but everything is in front of Crewe. Get Sims on and he has that pace to get in behind them so we can turn them around. Would also agree with Robertson for Smith, Smith has struggled to get into it.

Is it just me thinking it’s not been THAT bad?

We’ve offered little going forward but isn’t that to be expected if Gomes is up front?

We’ve mostly limited them so far, and if we can create from other areas (wide or set plays) we’ve got a chance.

Happy at 0-0 think simms and Robertson will have a positive impact on the game in the 2nd half at some point

Now is the time for Butler to earn his corn, saying the right things, and doing the right things in changing the tactics to deal with Crewe's domination of the match thus far.

I’d swap John for Gomes and tell him to just hold the ball up and lay off to runners as we not getting chance to get up the pitch at the min

Massive overreaction from folk like this,,,
Get a grip
Crewe were 2-0 up v Sunderland until the end the other week they’re a good side, we’ve not got a striker playing yet people spouting absolute negative drivel

Agree. What I would say is that this performance really does show how much Bogle brings to this team even when he is not scoring. Miss him badly.

I’d hazard a guess and say “ yes” .......it is just you...lol

We are not looking like a team that deserves anything from this game...

We are supposed to be the BETTER team !

I was hoping Gomes would at be a nuisance to Crewe but he's not even done that. I don't think their centre halves will need a shower tonight. Once again they seem to be getting crosses in far too easily.

Agree. We had a perfectly good goal disallowed for bugger all. Crewe have had chances but haven’t taken them. I’d leave Copps on as he has that magic to unlock other. I’d pit Sims on for Gomes, shove Richards up top and maybe Robertson for Smith on the hour. If Copps is knackered, then Greaves for him.
