Rovers v Fleetwood
« on January 08, 2022, 02:06:27 pm by RoversAlias »
Is this definitely on iFollow then?

Two changes for Rovers, Jones has a muscle injury and is on the bench, Dahlberg starts. Gardner's injury sees Williams in to defence and Rowe pushed further forward.

Ellis Harrison debuts up front for Fleetwood. Troublesome!

ROVERS: Dahlberg, Knoyle, Olowu, Williams, Horton, Galbraith, Smith, Rowe, Barlow, Hiwula, Bogle.

FLEETWOOD: Cairns, Hayes, Clarke, Biggins, Andrew, Johnson, Batty, Johnston, Lane, Camps, Harrison.

Good news we have a few more bodies back from injury, particularly looking forward to see what Seaman can do who was one of the brighter lights before his injury.

As good a team as we can hope for, just a pity Jones has a knock.

Hope we can last the pace and earn a much needed 3 points.

The game in general, how scary it was that taking out Gardner Bogle and Barlow caused such a collapse

Sounds like 3 loanees will be going back, Vilca, Cukur and reading between the lines Dahlberg

Nothing imminent transfer wise before Fleetwood

How he believes a DoF isn’t a bad idea

and here me thinking there is no way Jones will start in goal against Fleetwood

ifD ahlberg goes back then we obviously need an emergency loan goalkeeper

we did this trick a few times when Jones as the No.2 had never made his debut

that third goal was an absolute fluke the way it bounced off the player onto their forwards toe end

thank goodnes sense and sensibility has finally taken charge and Dahlberg is back in gal
and also in goal

Jones has a muscle injury, and is on the bench presumably because if worst comes to worst, Jones on one leg is in theory better than an outfield player on two legs.

Just had a bet on a fleetwood win so hopefully I’ll lose that and we get the 3 points we desperately need

Think the audio is behind the video on iFollow, for me at least.

thanks for not reporting that fleetwood had the ball in the net but disallowed and Rovers defence is "shakey"

The defence has been shakey all season so this is nothing new?

Need Oxford to dump the gimps.
3 pts today would make the bottom of the table a lot more positive

Fleetwood shouldn't be wearing red shorts and socks with red tops. What's the point of away kits that still clash.

Not a big issue I know but it brasses me off.

Lacklustre stuff from Rovers and being played straight through over and over again.

To be honest, the red Fleetwood shorts have shown up how our kit isn't actually red. It's like a cherry, off-red.

I think that was the first time we've put the ball in the opposition box. Not that we actually touched it once it got there.

I'm loving that it's the audio that's the gripe. That must be an improvement!

They are technically much better than us. They are faster than us by a mile. They are winning the ball far far more often than us. They are splitting us apart and in our box often and only Pontious has kept us from conceding I reckon.

The few times we have got forward have fizzled to nothing.

The excuse at the start of the season about the players not knowing each other is wearing thin but they still look like a bunch of strangers.
