3 today, my usual starter word was lucky.

2 wrong in 27 goes. One early on, not realising you could use the same letters twice. One recently because many possible solutions and bad luck.

I have been playing the Archives I mentioned above .... and found a word with same letter used 3 times ...

so watch for that

I got my very first one wrong being tricked by favor .... but none since ... 45 ish in a row though I was lucky earlier having 4 letters right and having to choose a letter to finish word which both could not be right of course

Can all of you that have mentioned the American thing today not do so in future as it spoils it for us that are yet to do that days Wordle.

What does for me is Australian Cricket Scoring. I mean 1 for 117 for gawd sake

Makes no sense at all for a sport which is won by scoring more runs than the other team

Picked a different style start word to usual, two letters correct straight off, three 2nd time got it on third

57 in a row now

Got very first go wrong as it was "favor" and I didn't expect it .

Have maybe 5 where I solved it on last go including 2 where I needed to get 4th letter right and there were 2 letters each time that could have been right

Graze and grade was one and luckily I chose right or my 57 would have been shattered. .... Hoping to get to a ton

A disappointing 6th go. Changed my normal tactics, which didn’t help.
I dreamt the word today was ‘prawn’ and started with that. Even though Yanks call prawns shrimp. I still went with it!

5 today then visited archive and took my total to 100 in a row

Very lucky though on at least 4 now

Yesterday I opened with 3 green ... first three letters ... and got no more and so with my last attempt all I could see that might work was FF or LL and was just deciding between those 2 when I realized the word might have some of the first 3 letters to complete it

There were 2 that would and so I went for FF rather than either of the others and bingo ... saved ! (lucky)

Finally my English and Maths coincided and I made it 100 in a row with quite a few going to last " guess "

Amazing I got my 1st attempt wrong but in my defence it was "favor" but knowing that and that some letters can appear twice even thrice would have helped

...that's the nearest I can get to Joe Root holding a bat up lol
