I'm no Royalist but have the greatest respect for The Queen.
She's worked tirelessly for her country all her life.
I hope she pulls through.

Most probably neither are thousands of other elderly people in the UK today many of whom are younger than she is .

She's no different to anybody else .

I've no royalist axe to grind, but she's been a major historical figure. If she's on her way out, this is a significant moment in our history.

Probably not a good time to debate my anti royalist opinions so I won't .

That said I hope she pulls through the same as I'd say about almost everyone who is ill and elderly .

The Bbc presenters have donned black ti
es. It's not looking good for her.

Also Harry and Meghan are rushing to her bedside. That'll cheer them all up.

That video of a young Truss spitting her hatred of the Monarchy may well come back to haunt her.

Not sure the queen's health and politics should be discussed together ffs.

What the queen has seen, done and achieved in her life is largely unparalleled and unlikely to be seen again. Much more good than bad but it is inevitable that the clock is going to run out at some point soon.

Agree, very easy to take cheap shots at a time like this when we have a situation that is totally unprecedented for just about everyone alive today in this country.

I'm no royalist but you have to give credit to her for her total devotion to duty, i'm concerned about what follows her with the jug eared one champing at the bit to make his mark and his awful offspring and equally awful spouse hoping to extract maximum opportunity from even this.

I think that virtually everyone has said stuff in the past that they regret at some time afterwards.

I'm a republican but that doesn't mean I ignore the humanity or the historical contribution of the incumbent. You really need to be able to separate the person from the position.

Yep, she’s too busy writing her next Blog and re editing Ginners book.

It depends what regnal name he chooses. There's a suspicion that we might be Georgians.
