You and I seem to have reversed roles.

Ever since your pep talk about being positive , I have REALLY "gone for it" but whilst I am on 9 or maybe 10 I did get totally lucky yesterday when I tried to abandon and solved the last 2 rows

I'll keep going but sometimes I just don't "see" them

You either get it or you don’t.
Sometimes I have a light bulb moment that solves it, sometimes I dont.
No rhyme or reason (great horse that backed it when it won the National) to it.

Looked a few times during day and as it reached 23 00 , way past my bedtime , I was none the wiser.

16 unconnected words it seemed except the obvious trap. 4 States of the USA

Cue .. fail with one of each colour
Things got better

3 more fails but all 3 had only 3 colours

10 streak = no f****** streak.

That has to be the hardest one I have ever seen

PS looking back I could have got the Blue if I'd have said LA Los Angeles and LA Louisiana and then LA a note to follow So.

2 of them look ok a third is dodgy and I didnt know what the Sian Ian or indeed An was but my Seat Buddy offered up S*** which doesnt rhyme at all

Yesterday's failure was down to becoming fixated on one Connection. Banana and Canary? Got to be yellow, right? Wrong!
One of the earliest tactics I learnt on thus was : Don't get fixated on one Connection, especially if you keep getting it wrong.
Today, I got fixated on one Connection again.
I lost 3 x 1a lives.
