I don't regard retaining players on new contracts as new signings. They're not adding to the squad from last season.

As far as I'm concerned, we've made one new signing so far.
The clubs not got money to sign players worthy of trying for promotion. The silence of the clubs is so loud it’s screaming “ we can’t afford to loose any more players”!! Because they can’t replace them all and it’s a toss up of who gets signed . Loans are going to easier to get and out of contract player even easier. So it’s young prospects and old legs .. imo of course Rtid

Jesus Christ!
no need to bring him into it !

Why not?

Good conversion rate by all accounts. Worth a go up front?

Nailed on signing.
Could be the place to resurrect his career. He'll fit in here, as he's used to being carried by a donkey!

What on earth
Show me where if this was a JR promotion season that the club is showing it ambitions or setting record straight by speaking about signing in the pipeline or any i formation that could help show any progress . Let’s face facts over half the back four have gone and loans that all gut is over line.. It’s the silence that speaks  volumes !!!
We tend to do our business in a far more reserved manner with TB in charge! The signings will come.

Would make a great goalie too..

Hence the graffiti added to a religious poster saying “Jesus saves”, with “ but Keegan scores on the rebound”..

Showing my age..

Has anybody thought maybe Grant is on holiday for a week or two and the club are waiting or maybe certain players are on holiday. I wouldn't be worrying yet Grant has a knack of getting his players in early and I think this season will be no different we will have players signed just waiting for the announcements no need to worry ladies

There is no rush to sign people this early in the window. No one will be at the club to train and there will be plenty of players reviewing their options and similarly for clubs.

We all know we need 2 first XI centre half’s, a striker and a keeper. But Grant and his guys will be making phone calls and optimising our prospects. He said he wants to do business early… and he will, let’s see where we are in three weeks before we all start panicking.

He panicking all right has no ones to let defenders go until they’ve got replacements.. but we do .

I'm hoping Kyle Hurst is like a new signing next season.

C'mon Kyle lad. Make it impossible for Grant to leave you out.

Same here, Rob. Was surprised Grant sent him up there, surely there's a story in there somewhere.
I'd love to see him back at his Bradford tearing apart best for us.

I can't remember which home game it was, but Hurst let his full back run past him, waved his arms around and did not chase. Grant looked at Cliff and shook his head and Cliff nodded back. I don't think Grant trusted him again after that. He didnt play much after that as was off on loan. Non negotiables.

Pretty sure it was port Vale at home, Hurst got send up there & Flitton sent back to Hull. None negotiables I understand, seems a bit harsh for one goal though.

We didn’t let them go, they rejected their contracts..

He's definitely not on Holiday  :)

Such is McCann's devotion to getting this summer right that he recently revealed he is to forgo a pre-planned family summer holiday: "I've made a real conscious decision to abandon the family holiday at the end of the month because I'm determined to get it right.”
