Come on Joseph, League 1 awaits, certainly didn’t look like someone that wants away

Surely we’ve got a fair chance of keeping him now ! Bigger budget for sure, unless location is an issue and he wants to get back further south !

Don’t think he would have joined in with the after match celebrations in front of the South Stand if he didn’t intend staying.

Reckon he’ll sign now.

Depends if the Luton rumour was true. They could be staying in the Championship.

I said the same thing at the game mate.
Why was he carrying that green apron thing by the way.

Ah thanks, I didn’t get a proper viewing of it.
I thought he might have to do the washing up when the lads had finished celebrating.

I can see you are no vexillophile  (apart from being vexed when we lose ) good job he wasn't born in The Ivory Coast as you would have thought he was Irish  :suicide:

He was absolutely loving it in the Sal. He’s one of us!

Best news for next week is that he’s signed.

One of his family was holding up something white and oval shaped during the celebrations. Eventually we got to see the other side of it and it was a picture of Olowu's face. Now it's pretty obvious to me he is staying , why else would she have a pickie of his face in her hand holding it up to the crowd !!!

I agree with the sentiments on here 100 PC

I too saw him on Pitch and shouted Nice one Joe ... you look like you are staying.

Then I remembered Akifenwa dancing on the steps of Mansion House and at the time I thought .... brilliant .... he's staying

But I was wrong and hope I'm not wrong this time as well

They are foam heads of all the players, you can buy one in the club shop. There is an Owen Bailey one in my house.

Whilst Joe did get involved, when he was doing his thing with the crowd, I watched Grant, who looked to have a puzzled face watching him. You can read too much into anything, but I read it as Grant thinking is he staying?

Would be the best signing of the summer if he does! Like moly last year. Come on Joe, you know you want to!  :boxing:

I remember watching Greeny also celebrating at Wembley when we did Leeds and me thinking the same, he then pissed off to Derby ! Funny old game football, I really do Joe does commit to us though.

Initially I thought he must be staying, but then when leaving he knelt on the pitch and looked like he was saying a little prayer. Then when he got up it looked like he was emotional, only had a side/back view but looked like he was wiping away a few tears.
I think it’s certain he he gets offer from a championship club, we can’t compete financially.

I’d be pleasantly surprised if he stays. Hes destined for big things, our only hope is his recent injury/ op may have put teams off.

Not much we can do if a championship club comes in for him. I think at times we forget it's a short career for the lads. He would have my blessing........I would be dissapointed if he signed for another L1 team though.

He always says a little prayer before/after games so not sure how much can be read into that, I didn't see it.

The videos in changing room etc he was heavily involved and my gut feel was he will renew........until the post above about Greeny because I rembered feeling that he would sign too!  :chair:

I have thought all along that Joe would wait to see which division we would be playing in next season before making his decision. I don’t think fame or money will come into it for Joe. I think personal satisfaction and happiness, and being at a club where he feels wanted and content. I can see him now signing for us following our promotion.

I think if we have a clause in his next contract that we would not stand in his way if a bigger club came in for him at the end of next season then he would sign.

Just seen a photo of him on twitter and the caption was:

Think it’s something to do with a clothing brand being released.

Ultimately he will enjoy his time here and it’s likely if he does move it’s for financial benifit but also maybe a crack at a better division or in a team pushing for L1 promotion next season, he owes us nothing and if he stays I’ll be extremely happy but if he moves on, I’ll wish him all the best, he’s given us his best in the worst of the last few seasons for our club.
