Looking at the fixtures got me planning the away trips. These two look the outliers in terms of travel. Obviously you can get a 5hr train direct from Sheffield but is there any alternative options? Flying maybe? Exeter has an airport but not sure what airport would be an option to go from, Humberside maybe?
Not being funny or owt, but does no one else drive to away games? Much cheaper than the train if you already have a car, and more so if you share with family or friends.
I’ve already looked at the trains to Plymouth, Fri - Sun , £85 with my railcard, there’s loads of Rovers supporters with different types of railcards, or even free travel passes
It’s Saturday at the moment!Sky may have something to say about that.
Not that we are Real Madrid but we were a relatively bigger draw in League Two, while in League One we are a nobody so the TV game selections might be a bit kinder to us this season.
I want to go to Exeter myself and was thinking of staying overnight, but with the game been on Easter Monday, messes my idea up. Will probably go down on the train and come back the same day. Possible train price of around £145 return from what I can see.

True, but a cat is quicker than the bus, probably a bit slower than the train but not hugely. Plus it’s more flexible if the fixtures change dates. Can still make a mini break of a lengthy trip.
The average xG for the train to run on time is only around 0.07 so generally considered to be sub-optimal. Not sure on the underlying numbers for air travel.
Wow, what time did you set off?
