MM, they have been made to look poor by a team where everyone has played well and we have played most of the game in their half and the defence and keeper very little Pressure on them, so a well done credit where it's due. Bailey and the mid field have won us the game., and after the build up to the game and the crap aimed at him Byrne deserves some praise as he never put a foot wrong but will have have bigger tests than they provided, Richie's antics on the side line was also great entertainment. Bailey MOM.
Lot of people totally lost the plot yesterday. Absolutely lost it. The lad may have better games and may have poorer games, but read back this thread with a clear head. People need to get real.
Filo could have played in the back four tonight with his pipe and slippers on. They were abysmal. One missed header in the first half but apart from that he didn’t put a foot wrong. They didn’t have a shot in anger.

The fact that he did nothing might be due to the fact that he wasn't allowed to.

Also the fact that both Stockport and Bradford signed him shows they saw something in him!We finished above Bradford last season. Doing the double over them in the process. Now we’re signing their deadwood to save us.Players above him in the pecking order signed this season are Joe Wright and Curtis Tilt. Nothing that would have been out of our reach, especially Tilt who I don’t rate.Well, he was quality tonight, and not only that he made everyone around him look more solid too. Maybe next time folk will wait until they’ve seen the chap play before they write paragraphs and paragraphs of negative drivel

That would be great!Fine to have the opinion, but the reaction not just by you was massively over the top, we’ve got 7 points from 9, should be 9 from 9, I think every performance since the Blackpool game has been very good

He was playing against probably the best striker in the division tonight, he didn’t get a kick
He never shut up the whole game, pointing and directing. Very solid debut

All we need back there is a solid player who does the basics well. Also a player with some experience to help our young centre backs develop, I think he is a decent signing, yes he will have more challenging games but he was nice and steady, which is what we need. It allows the forwards to have more confidence in doing their jobs, and as we saw Bailey released into a midfield role that gives our team more goal threat.

You should be embarrassed with the nonsense you posted about him before you’d seen him play. It’s pretty evident you have no idea about football, so be a good idea to stop embarrassing yourself on here every day
You lost all credibility and respect years ago. If it was up to you, we'd still have schofield as manager and be playing in the conference north
