If you refer to the Solihull Moors fans’ forum you will see a mix of theories about why he is leaving. His outstanding season was 22/23 and more recently he has suffered illness. There is a good deal of gratitude expressed with hints that his resilience may be a factor influencing his release. Against this they do not rule out the possibility that he already had another club lined up which could also have been why it would be pointless not to release him.
