Fair few in the South, most of them were on good behaviour though to be fair.

After the first goal, I saw a Leeds fan being led away and a kid in a yellow shirt follow him into the South Stand concourse gesticulating to him, before an oldish guy in a Rovers wooly hat went following him into the concourse, he didn't seem happy either judging by his hand movements

As this is not football related but violence related should it be moved to "off topic"?

I had some Leeds mates with me who were respectful. By that I mean they weren't your typical moronic Leeds fan

I retweeted a tweet by @mrwayneg, a writer for the press association bragging to other Leeds fans that he was going in the Donny end, not very professional behaviour for a journalist is it, it's time for something more secure to be put in place to stop this happening if it's stopping home fans attending

Don't understand what O/P means - there is talk of violence in the thread, therefore it is about violence and not football and violence has no place in football on or off the pitch.

The endless threads about the takeover were not directly linked to the football on the pitch but they were posted. No one is condoning the violence. If something directly effects fans at a Rovers game it justifys the discussion because people want to deal with the issue at hand.

After the second goal went in and it kicked off in the south, where the "eviction squad" came piling through the tunnell, did anyone else see the fat man who ran from the west side to the east side. Couldnt work out if he was a Leeds fan trying to get involved in the trouble or a very nosey Rovers fan. He was funny though.

Was it ticketed by allocated seat number? If so, check photos/video. Find out who say where. Any trouble, ban.

yep definatly clubs fault i feel it was obvious and to boot the stewards were too slow to deal with it. As a sth with my three year old son i was not comfertable with the situation and know others felt the same. Its also worth noting and i maybe wrong but having police in the family stand is a clear combat indicator that there were idiots in our stand. I cant recall a police prescence in family stand at the keepmoat before

totally put our fans in danger.

think we (fans) deserve an apology from the club... and an internal investigation.

Bore off you melt, it's football. no - one got hurt that wasn't looking for it. saw a couple of Leeds get a slap in west stand toilets, couple of shiners but nothing serious.
No one was is danger! if you look for a scrap in football you generally find one.  At no point during yesterday was any fan hurt that didn't want it. Those days are thankfully over

so thats fine in a family area boomstick ?now i and the lads round me can look after themselves not sure my son can or the other kids for that
matter. Nor is it acceptable but if morons want to cause trouble its hardly big or clever and shouldnt be tolerated.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, it's disgraceful that our club lets this happen. It seems every other club goes to real extremes to keep this from happening. We need this sorting out. I for one can handle myself, but I don't fancy being in a position where I need to. I'd rather turn up and watch rovers play without confrontation thanks.

One of the Leeds fans in the East Stand took his jacket off prior to the start of the game. He was obviously out on day release from wherever!!! I had read somewhere to report any Leeds fans in the home end. We were told to inform a steward (I think a Bolton steward would have been fitting) or safe text, the number of which would be round the ground and of course it wasn't.
There were no stewards in the stand near me so I went all the way back into the concourse to find one. Nope not one there. Eventually I saw a SLO and told him, only to be told that it was ok as long as they were not causing trouble. Ehh!!!
I really thought DRFC cared, I have huge concerns as to if they really do. The attempt to segregate the two groups of fans was an absolute shambles from start to finish. It was never going to be 100% Leeds idiot fan proof but come on DRFC say what you mean and mean what you say. Rant over!!!

Why dont we just have lie detector machines at the ticket office to find out if any leeds fans are telling porkies. It works  on jeremy kyle .Problem solved .Oh i forgot , them lying machines dont work with violent people .But we could go to plan B and ask them to wear CND badges .The sheer sight of these would send them into sheer panic .Then we could have cattle prods to make them comply and show by example that violence is wrong.
