Two points from me, only two loan players start, and now Jones plays that takes him over the threshold to prevent getting an emergency loan keeper in if we get an injury

Bold changes.  That's what management is about I guess.  They make some sense though. Balcombe is way off form, Richards played a lot of games.

Fact is that we could have played Jones the first time round if the manager felt he was good enough. Moore didn't, Butler clearly does. Shouldn't be leaving players out because of possible emergency loan situations that may never happen.

I wonder if Copps will play the 10 or Simms?

Balcombe’s been pretty poor since knocking Anderson out, right move for me. Can’t really argue with the rest of the team either.

Good to see jones playing. Balcombe seems to have lost confidence since he knocked out Anderson, opposition teams have been targeting him from set pieces since then.

Listening to butler yesterday, everyone has a clean slate and it’s all about attitude to the games AND training so it might be giving those on the bench a kick up the arse

Can't help but feel balcombe has been one of those coasting recently who needs a kick up the arse...

Throwing a lad on for his league debut is a big ask, in such an important part of the season.   In butler we trust!!!!!

Disappointed not to see Taylor Richards starting, a fantastic player who creates that magic.

Happy to Jones play, lets see how he does.

Maybe Butler, as such a recent part of the squad, wasn’t too happy with the loanees taking up so many starting places in the team.

Big decisions but he’s obviously not afraid to make them. Be interesting to see how we play.

Had a feeling he would give Copps a start. I bet he will be buzzing at the prospect of getting more game time.

Makes me nervous such a big change and statement in dropping Balcome. Really hope it pays off fingers crossed we’re not playing out the back tonight

First order to Jones should be. "if you pass to a defender who has 2 oppposition players on him, you will be subbed!!!",  Balcombe apparantly didn't get the message about how crazy that was?

Interesting team selection.
Credit to Butts for not just going along with what we had as it clearly wasn’t working.

What's happened to simoesh?

You can only have 5 loanees in the squad - don’t think you could justify leaving Richards, Balcombe, Smith, Robertson or Sims out for him.
