Xmas Party
« on December 07, 2021, 07:23:13 pm by albie »
At Downing St;
https://twitter.com/ITVNewsPolitics/status/1468284349548224512

Jingle bells, jingle all the way!

Now that they are in full denial, will Dom name names, including the media people in attendance?

Just beyond words.

But they're all the same aren't they?

Quite right Billy , never happen under Labour .

You've to reside in Downing Street before you can throw a Xmas party .

This is what happens when you're not being straight. It will eventually catch up with you.

It's looking like Johnson gave the go-ahead for the dog lift out of Kabul as well.

If they were on at the end of the pier you'd want your money back.

You have to ask why they don't take their own rules seriously. They know something we don't.

It's OK, Boris is satisfied no rules were broken. Go back to bed Britain, there's nothing to see here so do what you're told.

I can understand the uproar this is generating, but to dominate the first ten minutes of the bbc news at ten ffs.
With the wicked witch Kitsonsberg presiding .
Give me strength.

To be fair, it's not often the Prime Minister turns out to be a habitual liar.

Why was that leaked and who by? Something feels like a set up to me.

Twelve months for a set-up? I doubt it. It looks like it was only leaked after Boris lied through his teeth about it and somebody thought the public deserved the truth.

what sort of set pud? maybe it was leaked from someone other than a tory pansy fan that is fed up with a government that can't lie straight in bed.

Maybe so, it feels very odd to come out so long after the event.

The footage was probably leaked now because it took this long for the press to get wind of it. And if the rumours are to be believed it had to fall into the hands of the right journalists because others were at the party. And...

one source who was aware of the party in Downing Street told ITV News: “We all know someone who died from Covid and after seeing this all in the papers I couldn't not say anything. I'm so angry about it all, the way it is being denied.”

Sufficient reason for the footage to be leaked now.

No. It's simple.

Social distancing works only if enough people do it. An individual breach is not that serious. But it is serious if there are many, many breaches. So you need the vast majority to abide by the rules.

What this tells you is that these Kitsons consider themselves to be better than you. YOU abide by the rules and do the right thing. WE will do what the f**k we want.

It's really that simple.

Think on by the way. Shortly after those Downing St parties, over 10,000 people died of COVID in a single week. That's nearly 20% of all the British civilian deaths caused by the Luftwaffe in WWII. Those people died because of spread of the virus. The virus spread because not enough people were taking precautions.

And these entitled Kitsons were laughing about the fact that they'd not been taking precautions.

I get that tribal loyalties die hard, but I do wonder what it will take for some people to see Johnson's cabal for what it is.

Ross Atkins tells of a second 'leaving party' for a Cleo Watson on the 27th Dec attended by around 40 people, where Johnson entered the room and remarked about what a lot of people before leaving.

Booster lies millions of times!

Well done UK, brilliant service.

Interesting, the new blue room wasn't open until March. This ITN sketch claims it was done in December.

Maybe it has been leaked now to make it an easy reason for BJ to get the chop after his recent catalogue of disasters.

Could be something in that. I keep seeing reports that there is a lot of discontent in the Tory party at the moment.

They need to get rid now, by the time the next GE comes he will be history.
It's a sad state of affairs when people can see no other option than this bunch to govern us. I hope Starmer rips him to bits over this, but i don't see Labour as being a better option. Reform party for me next time if this isn't sorted properly.

Starmer doesn't need to over play it, given the evidence out there one question will do, were there any party’s during tier 3 restrictions or not?

Weirdly it appears it may have been legal aswell.  The rules don't apparently apply to government/crown property.  Which makes no difference at all frankly.

If Boris knew why did he do nothing about it? If he didn't know why didn't he know?

Axholme lion is right, the only way out for the Tories is to ditch him, he's served his purpose just as Theresa may had.

Ministers left right and centre pulling out of media appearances today. You can picture the arguments behind the scenes as the people who have defended his lies for years finally realise there's a smoking gun.

And of course it's now clear that Johnson lied to the House in PMQs last week. That's a resigning issue.
