Not a problem Ldr.

I can well understand your reasons for not visiting the main forum as much these days, it can be draining.

Many’s the time my wife will say to me “Please tell me you’re not on that bloomin forum again!”

Truth is Ldr, the inmates are in danger of taking over the asylum, & sometimes, even given the ridiculous angst it sometimes causes me, I can’t give the forum over ‘to the negative back biting, agenda pushing, ill informed, doom mongers’ that have wormed their way into what should be a respectful (crikey at the end of the day we all support the same club) if at times ‘argumentative’ place for us supporters to vent our spleens.

But let’s do it in an atmosphere of conducive bonhomme without resorting to personal insults & blasphemy.

That having been said, I shall continue to regale against those posters I personally feel deserved of taking to task, but done without resorting to insult & if you still feel my comment about CDH being ‘tiny minded’ falls into that category then given his track record I must beg to differ.

RTID

The inmates took over this forum long ago. Hounding out in packs anyone who dare challenge the direction this club was going.

I’m pleased to report all my customers this morning so far are fully compliant with the mask regulations, even ones that are exempt getting in with a mask without asking or complaining

Greek officials have announced that as of 16 jan 2022 anyone over 60 must be vaccinated. Or face a 100 euro fine.
I wonder how they will deal with holiday makers over 60?

Who in their right mind would holiday in Greece for the foreseeable future?

I had to chuckle at the daily mail a couple days ago. There are some serious things occurring in the uk and around the world yet they see fit to pit a news article on the front page about Shirley Ballas having extensions in her hair aged 62.
Like we give a f**k.

Because it's the right thing to do.

Johnson lies through his teeth, has affairs while his wife is dealing with cancer and illegally has other people pay for his current wife's expensive tastes.

No of us should take our lead from that, or anything else he does. But we should judge his behaviour.

Do we know if these are elderly people though Nudga? Nobody knows what may have caused these but in general terms, i was led to believe that the vaccine caused heart problems in a very small minority of younger men, not older.

Trying to rejoin the discussion but remain calm and balanced as certain posters made me think the other day that i was bang out of order again which i agree. Emotional regulation waaaaaaaay out of control recently.

It's not looking good in Germany 400 Deaths yesterday,Just under 500 today, 70,000 positives plus some parts don't get their data in daily so it might actually be a couple of hundred higher.

As people, including yourself, have pointed out for a while now Nudga, there is a big backlog of people requiring treatment in the NHS - this includes cardiac issues.

They gave me a heart monitor to measure some issues four weeks ago. I have yet to recieve the results. This is all related to a virus I had two years ago.

If people weren't so selfish, would have a vaccine, wear a mask and stop spreading alarming rumours with no factual basis, maybe they could lower the number of covid cases and look after the rest of us eh.

I disagree with your last paragraph Wilts but sorry to hear this and you make a good point about the sheer amount of cardiac issues either being left untreated or undiagnosed. Have you pushed your consultant to get the results quicker? I know you may feel they are under enough pressure as it is and might not want to do this but i have had little choice with my health to push and pester for quicker service and generally have been squeezed in.

Why do I need a vaccine if you've had yours?
I have a robust immune system.

I think we've been going round the houses on here enough to know that this is now a futile point of debate. If others cannot accept that the vaccine does not stop the spread, only perhaps reduces it slightly, then it is best to leave it at that. A vaccine that did this would give their argument much stronger traction and then they might have a valid point.
