Vaccines are driving new varients. From the snakes mouth.

https://twitter.com/jengleruk/status/1358353911002902530?t=Mo_6iX800TeK-l8TrlgmHw&s=19

So we'll create more vaccines to stop a varient whilst boosting new varients. Rinse and repeat.

Nudga.

Vaccine mutation is driven by the immunity of the host. That immunity can come from vaccination or it can come from having caught the virus. It doesn't matter to the virus which.

You really need to step away from the people who are pouring this poison into your head.

Wow. Switzerland, of all countries. Bearing in mind they have a pretty low overall vax rate.

From today, life for the unvaccinated in Switzerland becomes very restricted.

Bars, restaurants, theatres, museums, gyms and sporting events are open only to those who can prove they are vaccinated or that they have recovered.

A negative test is no longer acceptable. Essentials like grocery shops, pharmacists and public transport are still accessible to all, but masks must be worn – and everyone who can must work from home.

I'm becoming more open to the idea of leaving this society behind and creating a new one for myself off grid with like minded people.
Not really interested in a "papers please" society.

No announcements today it seems.

They are too busy fighting about what to do next. This government is a right shower.

Thing is, that could be applied to any law, depending on your viewpoint.

I don't think you need to sign up anywhere. This movement and other similar ones are in fact covered by UK courts, police and other regulatory bodies - although here the followers are known by the name common to all people who break statutory law - criminals.

Let’s just hope that the more radical non-vaccinated people don’t feel so ostracised that they take the law into their own hands and burn down every building they are denied access to…….. I mean, what kind of message would that send across the world…
If I can’t…………neither can you!
We are on the verge of open civil war and the different governments are monitoring what each other can get away with!

According to a radio report this morning over 90% of the hospitalisations with the new variant were not vaccinated, says it all really.

It's now almost a year since the wonderful scientists told us that the wonderful vaccines were "the route to freedom".

Yeah, right.

Not so much when you dig in to the data.  The date the positive test happens is a better trend to assess than the daily numbers (the ones they announce are pointless).

Maybe this is your chance Nudga haha

I like the thought of sitting on a throne having beer poured over me but I don't have any experience running a pub.

I do love that members of this forum tries to help one another.

Data from the US but I thought people may find this interesting:

Unvaccinated: 451 cases per 100k
Vaccinated: 134 cases per 100k
Boosted: 48 cases per 100k

Unvaccinated: 6.1 deaths per 100k
Vaccinated: 0.5 deaths per 100k
Boosted: 0.1 deaths per 100k

It begs the question if you've had three jabs why should you have to put up with any restrictions at all?

Because you can still get the virus and pass it on to the unvaccinated and covid deniers, which can’t be a bad thing in my opinion after the day I had yesterday with covid deniers and anti mask wearers
